How does GRAINS offer support?

The GRAINS project supports its beneficiaries by promoting sustainable practices within the agri-food sector through a multifaceted approach: it focuses on capacity building, knowledge transfer, and advisory support, empowering social economy SMEs to reduce their environmental footprint and transition towards greener operations.

By establishing a Financing Facility, GRAINS offers financial support for training, consultancy, and eco-certifications, helping SMEs enhance their resilience and embrace digital transformation.

Additionally, tailored mentoring and advisory services are provided to guide these enterprises in greening specific segments of their production and distribution chains, ensuring a comprehensive approach to sustainable development from farm to fork.
