DO Impact Capacity building
Transnational workshop 3 – Riga
November 6 & 7, 2025
On 6–7 November 2025 in Riga, social-economy enabling organisations joined a two-day workshop on Data Ethics and Accessibility, exploring how to ensure a human-centred approach to data use.
Day 1 introduced the basics of data ethics and personal data protection, followed by a hands-on session linking theory to the daily work of social-economy support organisations, and an interactive exchange on current practices and challenges.
Day 2 focused on applying GDPR, the AI Act and related frameworks in practice. Participants explored a new practical guide for safe, ethical AI implementation, gaining tools to support transparent, accountable, and effective data use in their organisations.
