Giulia has experience with various NGOs and CSOs dedicated to combating inequality and addressing poverty, primarily in the South American region, specifically the Dominican Republic and Brazil. Having worked mainly with the forced migration issue, she has contributed to projects focusing on the protection and documentation of stateless individuals, asylum seekers, and refugees. Recently, she completed a Master’s degree at ULB – Sciences de la population et du développement, with a specific focus on ruralities and food policy studies, further specializing on the examination of migrants in the agri-food sector and their working conditions. Following a professional internship with fair trade enterprises in 2020, her passion for supporting innovative business models that prioritize people and the planet over profits grew, inspiring her commitment to contributing to a more equitable society.
