About the project

The GREASE project promotes green social entrepreneurship in rural areas to support women’s empowerment, sustainable labour market inclusion, and a fair green and digital transition. It strengthens the capacity of Cameroonian VET providers to deliver innovative blended learning in green, digital, and social entrepreneurship, while fostering gender-inclusive entrepreneurial practices in rural communities. The project encourages transregional knowledge exchange and cooperation between the EU, the Western Balkans, and Sub-Saharan Africa, bringing together local organisations, public authorities, and enterprises to design inclusive VET pathways for sustainable job creation.

The project equips educators with modern pedagogical and digital skills, blended learning methodologies, and gender-sensitive approaches, while enabling rural women to develop green entrepreneurship skills, build digital competences, and explore self-employment opportunities that generate community impact and long-term economic resilience.
