The PL4SE project aims to strengthen regulatory frameworks to unlock the potential of social economy enterprises and organisations. Conducted under the OECD Global Action on “Promoting Social and Solidarity Economy Ecosystems” and financed by the EU’s Foreign Partnership Instrument, it focuses on sharing knowledge and promoting learning to support the social economy.
PL4SE promots the development of favourable legal ecosystems by improving mutual learning on social economy frameworks, identifying common principles for entities such as cooperatives, mutuals, associations, foundations, and social enterprises, and exchanging best practices on mainstreaming social economy in policies at national, subnational, and international levels.
This project is based on a peer-learning methodology, aiming at supporting exchanges of experiences and best practices and at facilitating the learning process through the exchange among 25 partners coming from 3 continents (EU27, Brazil, Canada, Korea, Mexico and the United States).
