Organised in the framework of the RISE-Engaged Research in the Social Economy project, this online session focuses on a practical question: how can research become more relevant, collaborative and useful for the social economy?
The event will bring together researchers, social economy organisations and practitioners for an exchange focused on networking, collaboration and the future of engaged research.
A practical discussion will explore engaged research, data cooperatives and democratic data governance, looking at how cooperative approaches can offer new ways to manage data, redistribute value and strengthen participation.
A dedicated open discussion with participants will then address another key question: what research does the social economy need, and how can researchers and practitioners work together to produce it?
The session will also present the main lessons from the RISE project, together with the free training resources and practical tools developed to support stronger collaboration between research and the social economy.
