RURAL RiSE is a pioneering European initiative revitalizing rural areas by promoting social entrepreneurship, sustainable skills development, and green job creation, with a focus on youth and women. Through capacity-building programs and transnational cooperation, the project works with local authorities and social economy organizations to foster resilient and inclusive rural economies.
The project maps resources and methodologies for green employment, strengthens local collaboration, and promotes the adoption of action plans focused on green jobs. Transnational exchanges of best practices support innovation, while youth social entrepreneurship initiatives address challenges such as unemployment, depopulation, and social exclusion, contributing to vibrant, equitable, and sustainable rural communities.
