Pedro Blázquez is Head of Employment and Training at the Spanish Confederation of Worker Cooperatives (COCETA). He holds degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and specialises in tax and accounting management for cooperatives. With over 20 years of experience in employment training, professional development and social economy policies, he has designed and coordinated large-scale vocational training and lifelong learning projects, contributing to the training of more than 2,000 workers each year.
His work focuses on identifying the training needs of worker cooperatives and promoting reskilling, upskilling and lifelong learning as drivers of innovation and competitiveness. He combines expertise in cooperative development, institutional representation and European projects with a strong commitment to social justice, democratic enterprise and more inclusive and sustainable economic models.
